Georgia Z Club First Annual BBQ and Wine Tour

What could be better than BBQ and Wine? Doug Crouse organized a grape smashing, pork pulling event.

Almost 35 Z Clubbers met at North Point Mall to start on the Historic Day. The weather was perfect and even our club crudgemugeon Travis "The Bean Counter" Hutcheson was there.

It was a tough job to keep 17 Z Cars together as we twisted and turned through North Georgia toward the culinary delights at North Georgia Barbecue in Helen.

It was a good thing we got there a little early because we filled the place to brim. Actually there was no filling because all the seating is outside. The day was warm and so was the bbq.

After filling ourselves, what could be better than a glass of real North Georiga Wine? So we were off in search of the perfect grape. And we found them at Persimmon Creek Winery near Clayton.

After a tour of the facility many couldn’t help but buy more!.
